1. Who we are

Paymappr (the "Service") is a free, ad-supported online tool that provides paycheck and salary calculators for the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, and Australia. The website is accessible at paymappr.com.

This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using Paymappr, you agree to the practices described below.

2. What we do NOT collect

We designed Paymappr so your salary information stays on your device. Specifically, we do not:

• Store, log, or transmit the gross salary, hourly rate, or income amount you enter into any calculator.
• Require you to create an account, sign in, or provide an email address.
• Save or track your filing status, state selection, pension contributions, or other calculator inputs on our servers.

All calculations run entirely in your browser using JavaScript. The results never leave your device.

3. What we DO collect (via third-party services)

Like most websites, Paymappr uses third-party services that collect limited data:

3.1 Google Analytics 4

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use the site in aggregate. This includes anonymized information such as page views, approximate location (country/region), device type, browser, referral source, and time on page. IP addresses are anonymized. You can opt out using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

3.2 Google AdSense

Paymappr displays ads served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners use cookies to serve ads based on your visits to this site and other sites on the Internet. You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google's Ads Settings. For more information on Google's advertising practices, see Google's Advertising Policies.

Third-party vendors, including Google, may use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to Paymappr or other websites.

3.3 Cloudflare

Paymappr is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare collects standard server logs (IP address, user agent, request time) for security and performance. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.

4. Cookies

The cookies set on paymappr.com fall into three categories:

• Essential: required for the site to function (Cloudflare security).
• Analytics: Google Analytics _ga cookies for aggregate usage.
• Advertising: Google AdSense cookies for ad serving and frequency capping.

You can manage cookies in your browser settings at any time.

5. Your rights (GDPR / UK GDPR / CCPA)

Because we do not collect personal data directly, most rights apply to the third-party services listed above. You may:

• Opt out of Google Analytics via the browser add-on linked above.
• Opt out of personalized ads at Google Ads Settings or via the DAA AdChoices program.
• Request data export or deletion directly from Google via your Google Account.

6. Children's privacy

Paymappr is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy occasionally. Changes will be posted here with a new "Last updated" date. Material changes will be announced on the homepage.
