1. Acceptance

By accessing paymappr.com ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Use of the Service

Paymappr provides free paycheck and salary calculators for the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, and Australia. The Service is offered "as is" for personal informational use. You may use it to estimate take-home pay, compare salaries across regions, and understand tax obligations. You may not:

• Scrape, crawl, or automate access beyond normal browser use.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code.
• Use the Service to create a competing product.
• Misrepresent calculation results as official tax determinations.

3. Not tax, legal, or financial advice

Paymappr is an informational tool, not a tax professional, attorney, CPA, accountant, or financial advisor. The calculator results are estimates based on publicly available tax rates and general withholding rules. They do not account for every personal circumstance (itemized deductions, tax credits, local city taxes, multi-state situations, audits, etc.).

Before making a decision based on these results (accepting a job offer, relocating, negotiating salary, planning retirement contributions), consult a qualified professional for advice specific to your situation.

4. Accuracy and updates

We update tax rates within days of publication by the relevant authority (IRS, HMRC, CRA, ATO) but do not warrant that the Service is free from errors or omissions. Tax laws change frequently — verify critical figures against the official source linked on each page.

5. Intellectual property

The Paymappr name, logo, design, content, and software are owned by Paymappr and protected by copyright and trademark laws. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for personal purposes only.

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Paymappr and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service — including decisions based on calculator estimates. Use the Service at your own risk.

7. Third-party services

The Service includes Google AdSense advertisements and Google Analytics. Your interaction with those services is governed by Google's own terms and privacy policies.

8. Changes

We may update these Terms periodically. Changes take effect when posted. Continued use of the Service after posting constitutes acceptance.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Portugal, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
